Like the tide, LIAF 2019 ebbs and flows through an extended year in four small communities across the entire Lofoten archipelago. In Digermulen, Skrova, Valberg and Ramberg, artist residencies foster conversations, exploration, introspection and collaboration in the intertidal zone.
From sunny Lisbon comes the artist duo João Pedro Vale and Nuno Alexandre Ferreira. They arrived in Lofoten on one of those typical Arctic winter days, where the sky goes from bright blue to a whirling mess of snow and back again in a matter of minutes. They will stay in a toasty house on the island of Skrova all through the late winter and spring months.
On March 14 you can meet them along with Signe Lidén! The LIAF-artists will present some of their previous work at Nordland kunst-og filmfagskole in Kabelvåg. The event starts at 6PM, and is free and open to all!
